"Know thyself" was the very idea that condemned Socrates to death.I hope the moral police of today wont take such an extreme action towards my quest for self-actualization.Why am I writing a blog??unlike many thing in my life I am very clear about my motive for a blog.It is going to be the platform to vent out all the confusion and commotion that had been built up inside me from quite a few years.Ones I relieve myself of the inner misery i will start writing brief reviews of the books that i read.

Well since this is my first blog i will give you all a little peek into my personality(not the physical part).I am a very self contradictory person.Vey much a twin personality,one an ardent critic of the other. A typical Gemini, not that i am a horoscope freak but the general traits were too obvious to ignore.Coming to my sense of humour,the less talked about it the better i guess.I will leave it to that.You will probably know about me more from my future posts.

The thought of starting a blog had been there for a long time but the process of starting it and naming it was very offhand. Before you jump onto the bandwagon that the title "The Struggle Within" has been inspired from the famous Mettalica number let me spare you the thought that it's not the case.I don't listen to metal bands. When I first thought of writing a blog i decided that it will be more about my thoughts and since there is a big chaos in the grey matter of my head i decided to name it so.It was not until I googled(love this term) that i found there was such a song.

My writing skills are not great, I am a complete novice.You can find that i am not good with the transition between ideas and that the general thoughts are very haphazardly scattered.So my earnest request to the readers to make any suggestion or correction that will improve my writing.

It took nearly the same time to start the blog after the thought first came to my mind as it took James Cameroon to make Avatar after Titanic.Then no one can argue about the quality of either:) Hope the second one won't take much long but then writing a blog is not as easy as it first seemed, especially for a person deprived of good vocabulary, words are often hard to come.
